Kia ora koutou, this term we have been concentrating on our pronunciation and basic conversational te reo Māori. We would love some feedback on our pronunciation and perhaps any mistakes you may pick up.

Matariki

Matariki Myths

For the last 2 weeks we have been learning about Matariki. Some of us decided to retell a myth using wevideo. We watched other videos to get some tips on how to be a good narrator then we found pictures online and recorded our voice over. Some of us used special effects and some of us played audio tracks in the background.

Hareruia

This term we have been learning a new waiata, Hareruia. We performed it after karakia at this mornings assembly. We are very proud to be able to share this with you and would like to make special mention to Susan and Siomita for their solo performances and to Jada and Kauri for welcoming us in. We would also like to thank all the whanau that showed up to tautoko us.
