Math Investigation

This week we were looking at tables and graphs. We wanted to know if we completed 5 sprints if our time would get faster or slower. Some of us hypothesized that we would get faster, some guessed that we would get slower because we would get tired.

It was unanimous, we all got slower! Five sprints in a row is tiring!

  4. Tena Kotou Room 2,
My name is Punipuao, I am a year 7 and I am currently attending St Patrick's School. Your classroom's investigation looks interesting and similar. Here in Room 7, we started of by exploring maths through running, where we had to keep the pace and see how long and measure the meters we had ran. If you are interested to visit my blog spot, I will leave an attached link, spspunipuaoa.blogspot.co.nz. Ka Kite Ano

  5. Mālō tau ma‘u e ho‘ata ni room 2, my name is Lupe from Saint Patrick's School,
This reminds me of when our class did maths through running a beep test. I love how your photos are clear so that we have the ability to see you all running and having fun. Who ran the furthest in 30 minutes? I hope you all enjoyed learning outside. If you would like to have a look at my posts, the link to my blog is > http://spslupep.blogspot.com/
I hope to blog with you soon.
