Please let us now your thoughts on our speeches and give us feedback on things we can do to improve our public speaking skills.

Precious Poets
Contrasting poems are so effective, here are some of ours.
We are learning to write a poem showing contrasting feelings.
Success Criteria: I will write about two contrasting emotions.
I will use adjectives
I will use adverbs
Yesterday,
I felt angry…
Normal hills looked like they were
getting smaller.
Insects abandoned their homes, and
flowers closed.
Clouds were getting darker by the
minute.
Dogs barked ferociously and loudly.
Cars were driving fast and furious.
The world was really mixed up.
Today,
I feel much happier…
The hills were standing tall and
strong with breezy air.
Flowers were glowing in the sunlight.
The sun was coming before the clouds
and sunlight was shining through.
Dogs were sprinting around the house
heavily.
Car drivers drove carefully around
streets
The world is much happier
Written by Koli Matiseni
Yesterday,
I felt
tired…
The
hills widen into a giant minefield.
I
smelt like rotten fruit and my brothers needed gas masks.
Monster,
clouds covered the night sky with rumbling thunder.
The
birds fell off the tree sleepily.
My
scooter lay in the backyard, lonely.
I
shrunk and the whole world grew enormous.
Today,
I feel
wide awake…
The
huge hills were filled with children enjoying their moment.
The
smell of love worshipped me like a king.
The
beautiful white clouds shined from the suns light.
The
bird flew up high in the sky gracefully.
My
scooter leaned happily on the tree.
The
world shined with bright light.
Avei
Yesterday…
I felt lazy
The street
spanned into a giant footpath.
The hills
widen into a huge pit of darkness.
Puffy clouds
moving slowly.
The dog lay
in its kennel energized.
My bike lay
on the ground idly.
The world
never spun.
Today…
I feel much
better
Kids filled
the streets
The hills
were sunny for the kids to play on.
Clouds
looked like cotton candy floating in the air.
My dog was
chasing its tail around.
My bike was
doing awesome tricks.
The world
spun with exciment again.

Marvelously Mischievous Masks
Marvelously Mischievous Masks
We have been working hard on our masks to make them as original and unique as possible. Each and everyone of us is unique, interesting and special. Each mask has something a little different to make it stand out, just like us. By accepting each other we are well on our way to making positive decisions, to think more positively and to come up with positive solutions!
