Whetu Harakeke

Ever wondered how to make your own whetu? Avei has the steps to show you.

  1. Great instructional video Avei. I think that your explanations and modelling of the steps are clear and I need to get some harakeke to have a go at making a whetu myself. The video production was also very well done with the music behind your voice. You had to remember to move the camera a couple of times, so next time you may benefit from your own personal camera operator!

  2. Tino pai Avei,
I'm very impressed. You did a great job of teaching me how to make a whetu. Pity it's raining so hard, I don't want to go out and cut some harakeke! Did you know you could edit out the sound of the bell? Here is some help: https://wevideo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/214824988-How-do-I-adjust-the-volume-of-a-clip-

  5. Hi I'm Emma

Well done on your video, I like how you made a star out of 4 pieces of flax. Maybe next time you could somewhere less windy and leave the camera in one spot or use two cameras in different places to get to view and then use some of each camera

    Thanks Emma
