Screencastify, myths and legends
This week we have been learning about myths and legends. We had to retell a myth of our choice and use screencastify and google slides to present it. Here are a few examples of our mahi. Please check out individual blogs to see more. We hope you enjoy our stories :)

NzReadaloud#8
We have been reading Too Many secrets and decided to write an internal monologue for a character. Below are 2 monologues that we have done so far.
An internal monologue expresses a characters innermost thoughts, which is what we have tried to do here.
What do you think? Have you every written and recorded one before?

NzReadaloud#8
This is our second Read aloud. It involves our teacher reading a novel to us everyday, we then have to complete activities about what we have read. Here is the twist, heaps of other schools around New Zealand in years 6-8 are also reading the same book! We then share and discuss our ideas with them online using edmodo. Everyday we are discussing our novel, this terms novel is intriguing as there are many mysteries. If you have the time you should sign up, it's pretty fun!

Audio Stories!
These are our audio stories! We had to select music, then identify keywords that described how the music made us feel. We then wrote a short story and recorded ourselves reading them over music. We hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoyed making them. Please click on the picture and it will take you to the recording.
